beowulf? boh wolf?

my bro watched Beowulf. He said it sucked. Full stop.

Think of it this way. The main actor is actually a fat, old man, but they used computer graphics to rewind this face back to when he was eighteen. Seriously. Funny.

Plus, i watched the trailer, it looks like a very violent version of shrek, animation-wise, but with no green ogres - still got dragons and monsters. Plus, the CG-ed 6pacs on the characters is a turn-off.

I actually READ the legend of Beowulf when i was 10 years old, and i still remember it. The movie is a MASSIVE redirection of the real story.

1) The mother of Grendel, the monster, was a HORRIBLY UGLY HIDEOUS L.K.Y LOOKALIKE FROM HELL. Definitely not an Angelina Jolie lookalike.

2)The dragon that u see in the trailer has NOTHING to do with Grendel and his mother - 2 completely separate stories.

3) There was no curse of the mother of Grendel that was passed on to other generations of kings and blah blah blah.

4) And lastly, the BIGGEST difference - Beowulf attacked and killed Grendel's mother the moment he saw her, probably bcos she looked like a HORRIBLY UGLY HIDEOUS L.K.Y LOOKALIKE FROM HELL, so they didnt talk and she definitely didnt try to seduce Beowulf, she tried to eat him.

If u want a spoiler of the movie, just ask. I'll post it. Im knee deep in the exams now, but i will still post.

Move over, Matt Damon. Jimmy Kimmel has some thoughts about what he'd do if he were the Sexiest Man Alive.

Damon, who is the cover boy of People's Sexiest Man Alive issue (on stands Friday), might be a modest recipient of the title. "Who the hell wants to read an exposé about some guarded actor who didn't get the memo and keeps refusing to answer really basic questions?" Damon says, adding that the magazine might have a better issue with someone else on the cover.

But Kimmel, well, he tells People that he has some definite ideas of what he'd do with the title. Among them:

•"I would call Brad Pitt (Sexiest Man Alive 1995, 2000) just to laugh at him, hang up and continue laughing like a maniac."

•"I'd never wear a shirt. Not to the bank. Not to the mailbox."

Summore got drama leh. At first after he say 6th December, someone msg and say cannot, bcos he have exam on the 7th, so the prof very good, push the date to 10th December. Then some indian say he cannot, bcos he flying off home before the 10th. LoLz... i thought the prof would just "AIYAH, liddat we have the presentation on the 20th bah!" that wouldve been AWESOME, but no no... in the end, he say "Nvm, the person who have exam on the 7th will have his presentation on the 10th then. The indian and everyone else present on 6th, so CHRIS, pls go and book the room."

Well, i dont care, im gonna rant.

I have bloody CA2 presentation for my FYP in December - it's on the 6th of December. And to top it off, the presentation is at 9am in the morning, and im scheduled to be the first. THEREFORE, the prof told ME to go and book the room and the equipment. WTF mann... how SUAY can u get?

Better still, my exams end on the 4th, so no rest at all. None at all. Anyone have any plans for the December holidays? Bcos i'll be in sg for most of the time, doing my fyp and pondering wat suicide module i should take next sem.

OMG...my exams is in less than 2 weeks time...arh...I have this module which I am expected to "see" the particles in a polymer melt...OMG...how am I suppose to see them when no one has seen them before????haha...Chris should know abt p-n junctions rite???I think is the same...how are we suppose to visualise those electrons har...I am really bad at those modules that require us to "see"when in reality there is actually nothing....haiz...
