beowulf? boh wolf?

my bro watched Beowulf. He said it sucked. Full stop.

Think of it this way. The main actor is actually a fat, old man, but they used computer graphics to rewind this face back to when he was eighteen. Seriously. Funny.

Plus, i watched the trailer, it looks like a very violent version of shrek, animation-wise, but with no green ogres - still got dragons and monsters. Plus, the CG-ed 6pacs on the characters is a turn-off.

I actually READ the legend of Beowulf when i was 10 years old, and i still remember it. The movie is a MASSIVE redirection of the real story.

1) The mother of Grendel, the monster, was a HORRIBLY UGLY HIDEOUS L.K.Y LOOKALIKE FROM HELL. Definitely not an Angelina Jolie lookalike.

2)The dragon that u see in the trailer has NOTHING to do with Grendel and his mother - 2 completely separate stories.

3) There was no curse of the mother of Grendel that was passed on to other generations of kings and blah blah blah.

4) And lastly, the BIGGEST difference - Beowulf attacked and killed Grendel's mother the moment he saw her, probably bcos she looked like a HORRIBLY UGLY HIDEOUS L.K.Y LOOKALIKE FROM HELL, so they didnt talk and she definitely didnt try to seduce Beowulf, she tried to eat him.
