2008 countdown!!!

yoz ppl reading the blog(sookfen chris me)....I dun know if still got ppl read or not..but like onli 3 of us post..very sad de leh...so post if u are reading...

Anyway...there will be a count down to 2008 year at Chris's house on 31st dec(obviously)..hehe..

It will be a potluck...pls bring REAL FOOD like fried rice, beehoon....not rubbish food like potato chips,chocolates,cakes....of cos can bring some but then dun everyone bring..if not dinner then is junk food onli...LAZY ZS will bring drinks which is lucky for us cos watever he is cooking should be nothing better than maggie mee +eggs.

Warlords was very good. And Takeshi Kaneshiro looked freakin handsome. Seriously. I mean, he looked good even after he was thrown around in the dirt, fought with a general, cut off said general's head and with his face covered in blood and his hair looking like shit and wearing the dumbest war-hat i have ever seen, he STILL looked good.

Jet Li looked like he would drop dead from overconstipation any time, but i guess he's supposed to portray a pained character. Andy Lau's fake beard at the start was really DAMN obvious.

It must be really easy to be Takeshi Kaneshiro. His lines are just repeated over and over again... ...

The last movie we watched is the "heart break lad"it is not a bad movie,quite funny but with weak story line...but it is at least a C grade movie unlike the past F grade movies which pk suggest :)haha.

Btw, my CA2 presentation... was a waste of time... In the end, he had no comments - no complaints, also no praise, no advice, no areas to improve. I dunno - did i talk too much? was i THAT good? or did he just think that i am hopeless case, so no need to say anything?

All he ask was "So, has any prior work been done on the hardware before?" I said "No." Then he asked, "So what area have you contributed?" I explained how i modified one algorithm to fit my hardware. Then he said "Hmm, ok. Thank you. You may go." I was out of there in 17min...

WAT THE HELL LA! I had 2-3 sleepless nights bcos of this!! I even showed up at the venue 1.5 hours EARLY to prepare. Means i was there at 8am!!! OMG! And in the end, it was a breeze. So... so... unfulfilling.

It's good that sookie is only coming back on the 20th. Bcos my fyp prof will be taking leave from 21st onwards, so no need to see her until the next sem starts. Hola, im free!
