oh yeah its december

and its fucking awesome.

dark, gloomy and rainy days are just what i like best and it really lightens up my mood.

2008 is coming to an end, so lets all take a moment of silence and mutter to yourself a very sincere "FUCK YOU" to all that pissed you off or brought you misery this year.

On a side note: Operation Save Sim City

Sim City 4 does not work with my desktop as it does not support my screen resolution so i have to play it on my Toshitba which is currently experiencing multiple critical system failures.

1) the screen hinge is worn out, i have to place textbooks behind it for support. (textbooks are useful after all)

2) XP is screwing up. It does not recognize my password. Tried to enter bios to get into safe mode so i can remove the password. Failed. Then for some unknown reason i discovered immediately after startup if i hold down Fn and run my fingers from F1 to F12, XP recognized my password!! Don't ask me how/why, it just does. Im a fucking genius.

3) XP is still screwing up. The shift key seemed to be permanently held down and it is not due to sticky keys. As such i cannot select a single file, but using arrows to navigate in the start menu is ok. No luck trying to solve this one.

4) XP is ultimate fail. Multiple XP features does not work, especially system restore. When i click on "restore my computer to an earlier time" the screen just stares back at me.

So Chris remember you said if i can hook up the harddisk to my PC, it would bypass the OS and work as a slave drive? The hopes of my 500,000 sims rests on this statement of yours.

So now i am fiddling with the toolbox and dismantling my other portable hd. If it does not work, I AM SO GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU. Tomorrow.
